Corey is the founder and owner of P27 Baseball Academy. Corey Warner grew up in Lexington, SC with a love for baseball. After playing in his youth, he advanced to play at WK Timberwolves. Corey played at USC Aiken and Catawba Valley Community College, then landed at Toccoa Falls College. There he won 3 consecutive National Championships along with winning the World Series MVP in 2012. Corey gained his personal training certification after college and spent years coaching baseball for all age groups in the community. After years of dreaming and prayer, Corey opened P27 Baseball Academy in 2018.Corey has four children with his wife, Sally. Between enjoying time with his family and coaching, Corey owns and operates Bodyshop Athletics of Lexington, a full service fitness center, and Bodyshop Baseball, a summer development league.

Zack Warner grew up in Lexington where he played at Brooklyn Cacye High School. He was blessed enough to win a class AAA high school championship his freshman year.
He then went on to play college ball at Toccoa Falls College where he won two National Championships and back to back All American honors. God then pulled Zack closer to home to Francis Marion University where he finished his career.
Zack resides in Lexington with his wife Missy and their dog Jacks. He can typically be found cruising his boat on Lake Murray.

Rube began his baseball career playing two years at CCAC South Junior College in Pittsburgh, PA, where he earned All-American honors as a sophomore. He went on to play two years at USC Aiken under Coach Gary Gilmore while completing his degree in Business Administration. Following college, he played professionally for two seasons in the Independent North Atlantic League with the Niagara Falls Mallards and Nashua Hawks.
With over 20 years of coaching experience at both the high school and collegiate levels, Rube has built a career dedicated to developing players and growing the game. He is married to Marni, and together they have a son, Logan.

Clark is a Greenville, SC native and grew up the son of a seasoned baseball coach. Clark was a dual sport athlete and continued his baseball career from high school to playing for University of South Carolina during 2014-2016. He continued his college career to North Greenville University in 2016. There he was drafted in the 22nd round of the MLB draft by the Cleveland Indians. Clark played 7 seasons with Cleveland all the way up to the AA level.
He joined P27 after retiring from his professional playing career and entering his coaching career. He brings a wealth of knowledge to our academy as an outfield and hitting coach.
Outside of the academy, Clark can be found enjoying his time with his wife and three young children, playing golf, or gardening.

Originally from Anderson SC, Garret graduated with a degree in Parks Recreation Tourism Management and a minor in athletic leadership.
Garret played baseball for Clemson University from 2013 - 2016 and Lander University during the 2017 season. After graduating, Garret began coaching at Longwood University in 2018-2019, Union College in the fall of 2019, and Lincoln Memorial University during 2019-2022.
Garrett joined P27 in 2022 and has been a huge asset ever since. Outside of the Academy, Garrett enjoys spending time with his wife Carly and their German Shepard, Daisy. He enjoys playing golf, being outside in nature, cooking, and traveling the country.

Simms was a member of the first-ever P27 team and is an alumnus of Charleston Southern University and Flagler College. He now serves as a full-time firefighter for Lexington County and manages Bodyshop Gym. His mother, Tina Owens, is also on staff at P27.Dawn is originally from Florida, but has lived in SC for 25 years. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from the University of Florida (die hard Gator fan!) and a Masters degree in Divinity from Lipscomb University in Nashville.
Dawn has 3 adult children, all of whom played high school sports, and one who went on to play NCAA D2 baseball. On the weekends she likes to take her golden retriever to hike in the mountains. Her favorite place in the world to be is the beach, so during breaks you will find Dawn back in Florida or visiting her daughter in California.

Dawn is the Director of Academics at P27. Dawn sets up and facilitates the online education at P27 Academy (9-12th grade and post grad), monitors progress, records grades and attendance, communicates with teachers, counselors, and parents, collaborates with current and potential coaches, provides HS graduation and NCAA eligibility advisement, organize events such as Graduation, SAT Prep, and Senior Day.

Mitch takes his sports physical therapy practice to heart, being an avid fitness enthusiast for the past 20 years. Starting his baseball career at age 10, he continued to play through high school alongside competitive swimming. During sports, he built his foundation (and personal injury history) to later specialize in overhead athletes as a PT. He majored in Exercise Physiology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, then received his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at East Carolina University. Following that, he completed a competitive Sports Physical Therapy Residency to specialize in Overhead Athletes. He has recently directed his personal efforts on training Ironman triathlons to push the limits of fitness. He has a long history of weight lifting, functional fitness, and endurance sports, but more importantly shares a passion to stay pain free and optimize performance for our athletes. He and his wife, Carrie Ann, enjoy traveling, working out, and making special appearances with their dog, Gryff, for the P27 boys.

Tina grew up in Texas but has called South Carolina home for the past 26 years. She has been married to Gil since 1999 and is the proud mother of two boys. The oldest, Simms, is a P27 alumni and is currently playing baseball at Flagler College. The youngest, Peyton, is in Welding school.
Tina has been involved with P27 from the beginning but has been on staff since the spring of 2021. Tina’s responsibilities range from monitoring the boys' apartments, taking care of them when they are sick and planning academy events.
Tina and Gil are very involved at their church. They ran a boys' home for several years and have always been passionate about having a role in cultivating and mentoring the next generation of men.
Tina is happiest spending time with her family and baking treats for the P27 boys!

Caroline grew up in a small town outside of Nashville until moving to South Carolina in high school. She graduated from University of South Carolina with a degree in public relations.
Shortly after graduating began a boutique social media management company specializing in small businesses and start-ups. She enjoyed this for over 7 years, growing in experience until settling into her role with P27 in 2022.
Outside of the office, she can typically be found chasing her three youngs boys around the yard outside or DIYing a project in her home.

Chandler graduated from Gardner-Webb University in 2019 with a degree in Mathematics and a minor in Chemistry. A standout power hitter, he set both the single-season and career home run records at GWU. After college, he spent six seasons in the St. Louis Cardinals minor league system, advancing to Triple-A and becoming the all-time home run leader for the Springfield Cardinals (AA). Notably, he is one of only two players in professional baseball history to hit for the home run cycle. This is Chandlers 1sst year at P27!
